Stratus Billing Breakdown
Although Webscale STRATUS is built on top of many Amazon services, which each have their own individual pricing schemes, our pricing is reduced to only these values.
- A regular monthly payment of a base price.
- A small charge per session for sessions over the plan limit. See How Sessions are counted for details.
- A charge of the average GB of storage used over the allowed storage per month. See Billing Breakdown for details.
- The addition of any other addons that have been purchased.
Through this simple system, server costs are reduced to only what is used each month. As a business grows, it can scale predictably and seamlessly.
A regular monthly payment of a base price depending on the plan.
A small charge per session is added for sessions in excess of the selected plan. A default session is counted as one IP address per hour excluding well-known bots. For further details please see Stratus Billing. Sessions are not charged on development environments.
We sample storage used once per day. Storage use includes the primary environment, all associated dev environments and backups. At the end of the billing cycle we average the amount, then subtract your included storage for a final amount.
Sum of daily storage / # of days in billing cycle
2993 / 31 = 96.548 (97G)
Subtract included storage (pro in this example)
97 - 75 = 22G
Multiply times rate (pro in this example)
22 x 0.47 = $10.34
